Man Forcibly Touched Woman, Exposed Himself In LI Target: Cops

A disturbing incident inside a Long Island Target store Saturday morning.

COPIAGUE, NY – A 31-year-old man was arrested after forcibly touching a woman and then exposing himself to her inside a Long Island Target store Saturday morning, police said.

According to Suffolk Police, Ramel Giggetts inappropriately touched a 69-year-old woman inside of the Target located at 1149 Sunrise Highway in Copiague at about 8:45 a.m. A short time later, he exposed himself to the same woman, police said.

Following an investigation by First Squad detectives, Giggetts was arrested and charged with forcible touching and public lewdness.

Giggetts will be held overnight at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
