Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash: Police
The crash occurred on Saturday night, police say.
COPIAGUE, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday night after he crashed into a turning car in Copiague, Suffolk County Police said.
A 43-year-old Copiague man was operating a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Straight Path at about 10:30 p.m. when he crashed with a northbound 2013 Nissan Sentra as it was attempting to turn left onto 35th Street.
The man was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

The 21-year-old driver of the Nissan, of Lindenhurst, was not injured, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
