Ms. New York Senior American Pageant Moves Out of Lindenhurst
60 or over pageant moves to bigger stage at Hofstra University.

The Miss New York Senior American Pageant will no long be calling Lindenhurst home – the event will be heading to Hofstra University starting in 2014.
Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano announced on November 7 the pageant would be heading to Long Island's other county, with Hofstra University in Uniondale providing the new home.
The pageant will be held on April 27, 2014 and is open to women 60 years old or older who "best exemplify the qualities of the modern dynamic senior."
The first auditions for the contest were held on November 9 and the winner of the April contest will head to the National Pageant in Atlantic City next October.
The contest was formerly held at Lindenhurst Senior High School for many years before the move was announced.
