OLPH Collecting Food, Clothes, Offering Food, Internet Access

The Lindenhurst Church is collecting food, blankets, clothing and school supplies for those impacted by Sandy, and opening doors for food and Internet access.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst is opening a food pantry and collecting clothing and school supplies for those who have been impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

Here are the hours and what the Church at 210 South Wellwood Avenue is doing:

OLPH Auditorium: Clothing/Blankets Only, Sunday, November 4, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Food/Clothing/Blankets/School Supplies, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

OLPH Café: School Cafeteria, every day, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Start your day with a cup of coffee and light breakfast in the morning. Grab a cup of coffee and a light dessert in the evening.

OLPH Computer Café: Convent, every day, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. You may use our computers (or bring your own) to access e-mail, contact friends, file important forms, etc. You may also charge phones, iPads, etc. here.

OLPH Mass for Healing: Monday, November 5, 7 p.m. Celebrated by Bishop Robert J. Brennan, Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General, Diocese of Rockville Centre. Read more about this here.
