Op-Ed: Resident Urges 'No' Vote on School Budget

Lindenhurst resident Anne Swanton urges residents to vote down the 2012-13 budget. This comes after her challenging the board about it last week at a budget presentation.

Don't forget  is the school budget .

Get out and "no" to save your homes, and to show the school board and the teachers' union that you're not the bunch of no-care fools that they seem to think you are.

The kids will always get the the New York state-mandated education, no better or worse than now.

Retired resident Anne Swanton has lived in Lindenhurst for the past 50 years, raising her two children - both of whom went to school here.
