Lines for gas at those stations that have fuel and power are long all across Long Island.
In Lindenhurst the Citgo gas station at the corner of Delaware and East Hoffman Avenues has a line of people on foot to fill gas cans that was stretching at least a block back on Friday afternoon.
And at the gas station on the corner of Delaware and East Sunrise Highway, the line of cars reportedly stretched all the way back past Babylon Town Hall down to McDonald's.

Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon, Suffolk County officials ordered gas station owners to limit customers to fill just one tank of gas per visit. Those without power are allowed an additional 10 gallons of gas per visit, until further notice.
County officials are advising residents to conserve gas throughout the weekend and stay home or close by. In addition, the County has restricted gas use at County facilities to only essential services and personnel.
