Police Impose Curfew in Areas of First Precinct, Babylon Town
Starting Friday Suffolk Police impose curfew and restrict areas south of Montauk Highway to residents only in Lindenhurst, Babylon Village and Copiague.

As of Friday Suffolk Police have implemented a new curfew in the areas of the First Precinct in the Town of Babylon.
The SCPD will be enforcing a curfew from dusk until dawn beginning tonight, November 2, and continuing until further notice in areas of the First Precinct.
Police officials said motorists and pedestrians are prohibited South of Montauk Highway in Babylon Village, Lindenhurst and Copiague.

Montauk Highway, and areas North of Montauk Highway, will remain open, police added.
Police also said anyone who disregards this curfew will be subject to arrest.

Police added this was to protect residents and prevent gawkers and people looking to captilize on vacant homes from heading South of Montauk.
