Police: One Injured in Montauk Highway Car Collision
Victim transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center with reportedly non-life threatening injuries.

At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening on Montauk Highway, police said.
An unidentified man was riding what appeared to be a motorbike at around 8:36 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck by a sedan traveling along Montauk Highway at Wyona Avenue.
The front of the involved sedan was heavily damaged in the collision and pieces of both vehicles were seen thrown over 50 feet from the site of the crash near the Lindenhurst Diner.
The motor bike rider, whom police did not identify, was hurt but did not suffer life-threatening injuries, according to Suffolk County Police.
After receiving some treatment by the Lindenhurst Fire Department, he was airlifted by helicopter to Stony Brook University Medical Center from the Great South Bay Shopping Center parking lot in West Babylon.
There was no immediate word on the victim's condition.
The collision was the second in less than two days in that stretch of Montauk Highway. A two-car crash on Monday stopped up traffic for a short period of time.
