Put Patch to Work: Learn How to Post Blogs, Announcements & Events

Are you looking to get the word out about a community event or an accomplishment? Or maybe you’ve just got something on your mind.

Lindenhurst Patch can help.

Tired of making signs for your yard sale or bake sale by hand? Enter Patch events. You could events to the site for free. Navigate to the Events page and click the Add an Event button on the right side of the page. Tell us all of the details about your upcoming event, then click the Post My Event button at the bottom of the page.

It’s a great way to let the community know what’s going on at your church, business or school.

Did you know you can an on Patch for free? The old days of paying a publication to publish a wedding announcement are history! Now you could tell the community when you get married, have a baby, graduate or make the honor roll.

Simply click the Announcement option under the News tab on the home page or any page of the site. On the right side of the screen you’ll see the Add an Announcement button. This'll you take you to Patch’s new announcement form.

Once there, get your brag on and tell the community all about your son’s big Little League win or your civic club’s new members. When you’re ready, click the Publish My Announcement button at the bottom of the page, and it'll go live to the site immediately!

Patch editors sometimes announcements with photos on the home page and in the Lindenhurst Patch daily newsletter.

Finally, we know from the comments on the site that the Smyrna-Vinings community has a lot to say.
