Report: SCPD Investigates Early AM Car Fire
Police are looking into a car fire in North Lindenhurst that took place early Wednesday morning, according to a Newsday report.

The Suffolk County Police Arson Squad detectives are looking into what they're calling a "suspicious" early morning car fire, according to a report on Newsday.com.
The fire - which engulfed a 2007 Mercedes parked in front of a home on 47th Street at 2:01 a.m. on Wednesday in North Lindenhurst - was reported by a 911 caller, police said in the report.
The report also indicated that no one was in the car, police said, and no one was injured.

In addition, the cause of the fire was not immediately known, and no arrests have been made, according to the report.
