Several LHS Students Named AP Scholars

The Lindenhurst High School students have been honored for exceptional achievement on AP Exams.

A number of students at have earned Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams.

The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on these exams, explained officials.

The following mix of current LHS students and Class of 2011 graduates qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of three or higher:

In addition, several Lindenhurst High School 2011 graduates also received AP honors for earning an average score of at least four on all AP Exams taken, and scores of four or higher on eight or more exams, according to district officials.
