Sheriff, McGruff Drop by Lindy Day Camp to Teach Safety

The Suffolk County Sheriff's Office and McGruff the Crime Dog stopped by Fireman's Memorial Park today to teach daycampers a valuable lesson on safety.

The crime-stopping duo reminded children stay at the Lindenhurst day camp not to talk to strangers, be extra careful when crossing train tracks and to make sure they yell as loudly as possibly if they feel they are in danger so adults can help them.
