Talk Back: Do You Feel Safe in Lindenhurst?

To say it's been a busy week for police in our area might be an understatement.

During the past week Suffolk County Police have of the area about a burglary spree here in Lindenhurst - specifically North Lindy.

The spree also to Deer Park, North Babylon and West Babylon.

There was also the of an NYPD detective who was purportedly caught red-handed with three other suspects while allegedly stealing jewelry from a Lindenhurst home - while the homeowners were at church.

Other arrests this past week include:

• A arrest that involved the death of a West Islip man.
• A in West Babylon that produced charges of prostitution.
• The , of Babylon, who allegedly struck 18-year-old Lindenhurst teen 's car on Sunday night, causing it to flip several times. Police said she at the scene.
