VFW Hosting Night at the Races on Aug. 24
Post 7279 event includes dinner, raffles and a night of horse races.
Lindenhurst's Wade-Burns Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7279 will be hosting a "Night at the Races" event later this month.
The event is currently scheduled for Saturday, August 24 at 7 p.m.
The "Night at the Races" will include a dinner consisting of chicken parmesan, eggplant, spaghetti, bread and salad as well as beer, wine, soda, coffee and tea. Dessert will also be served.
The races will get underway at 8 p.m. sharp, so place your bets on your favorite horses early!
The event will also include a 50-50 drawing.
