Village of Lindenhurst To Host NYE Centennial Celebration

LINDENHURST, NY — The Village of Lindenhurst is set to ring into its 100th year with a bang.

Village of Lindenhurst 100th Anniversary Committee will host a "Centennial Celebration", a New Year's Eve ball drop, will take place on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Village Square Park.

The event will feature a ball drop, live music, giveaways, and fireworks, a news release said.

The Village of Lindenhurst was founded in 1923. In 2023, the committee will host several centennial celebrations, and is looking for volunteers to help.
