Who Made a Difference in 2013?

Lindenhurst is filled with special people who make a difference, people who make an impact on our lives on a regular, sometimes daily, basis.

There are educators, business owners, volunteers, public officials, clergy members and others working to make this area a better place.

In the year following Hurricane Sandy, Lindy Pride was on display throughout the area. Groups formed to help better Lindenhurst, heroes were found and volunteer efforts abounded to keep hopes alive.

Lindenhurst Patch is compiling a list of 10 local people or groups who mattered in 2013. We need your help.
