Airbag, Painkillers, License Plates Stolen from Cars

Nassau County Police report on thefts from cars in the region, including several near Long Beach.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

  • June 10: Grand Street, Massapequa; cycle shell stolen from motorcycle.
  • June 10: Harvard Drive, Plainview; books, set of golf clubs, calculator stolen from two vehicles.
  • June 10: Cranford Avenue, N. Woodmere; car ransacked.
  • June 11: Rosedale Road, Valley Stream; car manual, keys, cash, and car insurance card stolen.
  • June 12: Bellmore LIRR; rear passenger window smashed, airbag and steering wheel stolen.
  • June 12: Lawrence Avenue, Lawrence; car ransacked, gloves and quarters missing.
  • June 12: Barnard Avenue, Woodmere; $20 in quarters stolen.
  • June 13: Lawrence Avenue, Lawrence; change and remote control stolen.
  • June 13: Jerusalem Avenue, N. Merrick; wallet stolen.
  • June 13: Biltmore Boulevard, Massapequa; license plates stolen.
  • June 14: Adams Street, Uniondale; NYS vehicle title and registration stolen.
  • June 14: Stone Boulevard, Massapequa; items stolen.
  • June 14: Macy’s, Valley Stream; car window smashed, two shopping bags stolen.
  • June 14: Madison Street, Franklin Square; GPS, Seiko men’s watch, pain killers stolen.
  • June 14: Dutch Broadway Elementary School, Elmont; cash and two credit cards stolen.
  • June 14: Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh; EZ Pass stolen.
  • June 14: Lord Avenue, Lawrence; car ransacked, quarters stolen.
  • June 15: Main Street, Farmingdale; rear license plate stolen.
  • June 16: Lake Shore Drive, Massapequa Park; hood emblem stolen.
