Allegria Hotel Without Power, Two Floors Evacuated

The Allegria Hotel in Long Beach is without power, the first two floors were evacuated, and guests were told to either remain in their rooms or stay in a makeshift meeting room on the third floor, a reporter for News 12 said at 8 p.m. Monday.

The ocean waters flooded the street outside the hotel, West Broadway, and was at a level of about five feet high at the townhouses across the street, the reporter said.

The news crew said that about 7 p.m. Monday, everyone had left the boardwalk. But some people went to the hotel for dinner but got stuck there due to the flooding.
