Arts In The Plaza Returns Saturday

Summer program showcases local artists and musicians.


Arts in The Plaza will return the Kennedy Plaza on Saturday.

Since 2010 Arts in the Plaza has showcased local artists and musicians, and this year will feature a "Kids Art Station.”  

Arts in The Plaza is held at Kennedy Plaza, outside City Hall at 1 W. Chester St., every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Kids Art Station is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by the "High Noon Spotlight" with cultural performances, art demonstrations, workshops and live musical performances performances by The Wren Trio and Rorie Kelly from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan is from 12  to 1 p.m. The Caravan is a summer delegation of ten teenagers sent from Israel traveling across the United States and Canada bringing Israeli culture, music and dance, as well as a message of peace.

Also at the Plaza on Saturday is the Farmer’s Market, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
