Nassau County Police report on criminal mischief, grand larceny, and petit larceny last week in the area.

Nassau County Police reported the following information.

Criminal Mischief

  • June 26: McDonald’s, Jericho; sign damaged.
  • June 26: Phipps Lane, Plainview; Plainview Little League equipment shed damaged.
  • June 27: Washington Drive, Merrick; PVC fence damaged.
  • June 27: Veterans Memorial Park, East Meadow; wooden fence damaged.
  • June 28: Clocks Boulevard, Massapequa; mailbox damaged.
  • June 29: Charles Street, Roosevelt; side door window damaged.
  • June 29: Addison Street, Woodmere; rock thrown at front bay window, pane damaged.
  • June 30: Val Page Street, Farmingdale; front door of apartment damaged.

  • June 27: Orange Drive, Jericho; unattended pocketbook stolen.
  • June 29: Target, Westbury; wallet left at register and was gone by the time the victim returned. Unauthorized purchases were made on credit cards.
  • June 30: LA Fitness, N. New Hyde Park; wallet, car keys stolen from gym locker.
  • July 1: Just Construction Services, Baldwin; construction equipment stolen from rear parking lot.

Petit Larceny

  • June 25: Massapequa Park LIRR; locked bike stolen.
  • June 26: Cedar Street, South Farmingdale; bike stolen from front yard.
  • June 28: Pathmark, Seaford; bike stolen from front yard.
  • June 28: Gibson LIRR, Valley Stream; bike stolen.
  • June 30: Pro Health, Bethpage; employee’s wallet stolen from locker.
  • June 30: Summit Avenue, Cedarhurst; unattended iPad stolen after it was left by a fence.
  • June 30: Hempstead Turnpike and Sherwood Avenue, Franklin Square; bike stolen after it was left outside.
  • July 1: ATC Distribution, Jericho; manhole cover removed.
  • July 1: Farmer Boy Farmers Market, Levittown; iPhone stolen after it was placed on a clothes rack.
