Electrical Fire Causes Loss Of Power In Long Beach: FD

It took place just after 5 p.m. Monday on East Harrison Street.

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Fire Department battled an electrical fire on Monday evening on East Harrison Street.

Firefighters found the electric service on the side of the house burning with smoke on the inside of the house, the fire department said on Facebook.

PSEG Long Island responded and cut the power to the house briefly as a safety measure.

Four engine companies and a ladder company responded, along with an ambulance.
