LBPD Officer Involved in Loop Pkwy. Accident

A second collision occurred in the same area Wednesday morning.

A Long Beach police officer was involved in one of two accidents on the Loop Parkway early Wednesday morning.

Long Beach Police Department Inspector John Radin said the officer was involved in a one-car accident when driving over the Loop Parkway Bridge at about 8:45 a.m., according to the Long Beach Herald. Said Radin:

"He hit some wet road. He lost control and he hit a guard rail. He did some damage to the front end of the car. But there were no injuries."

The second accident involved two other cars in relatively the same area as the first accident.

No injuries were reported.
