Letter to Editor: Thanks Soup Kitchen Supporters

Volunteer says Food & Friendship Inn would not be possible without business donations.

To the Editor:

I want to give a heartfelt “thank you” to the wonderful people who support the Long Beach Food & Friendship Inn. There is always a hot meal consisting of soup, salad, fruit cup, entree, vegetables, desserts and beverages served to our guests in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take-out lunch bags are provided as a second meal to everyone.

None of this would be possible without the kindness of people who donate their time, food, kitchen supplies and other resources. I am proud to live in such a caring community.
