LI Man Charged With DWI In Crash That Seriously Hurt Passenger: Police
Police say the man was driving his motorcycle when he left the road and hit a guard rail, throwing himself and his passenger from the bike.
NASSAU COUNTY, NY — A motorcyclist was arrested today and charged with driving while intoxicated and other crimes relating to a crash on the Loop Parkway over the weekend that injured himself and his passenger.
According to New York State Police, Tao Riosbailey, 28, of Sea Cliff, was driving a 2004 Honda motorcycle on the Loop Parkway at the ramp to the Meadowbrok State Parkway around 1:30 a.m. As they were getting on the ramp, the motorcycle left the road and hit the guide rail.
Both Riosbailey and his passenger, a 28-year-old woman from Glen Cove, were thrown from the motorcycle. The passenger suffered serious injuries in the crash, and Riosbailey was also injured.

Riosbailey was arraigned in the hospital today and charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree vehicular assault and second-degree assault.
