Long Beach To Host Breast Cancer Screening Next Month

The womens' health screening is scheduled for Oct. 14 at City Hall.

LONG BEACH, NY — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the city of Long Beach is offering free screenings. The NuHealth/NUMC Mammography van will park at Long Beach City Hall on Oct. 14.

Appointments are required and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, the city of Long Beach posted on its website.

To make an appointment between 8:15 a.m. and noon, call Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford's office at 516-571-6204.
