Pfizer COVID-19 Booster Shots To Be Given For Residents
Long Island's positivity rate is over 20 percent.

LONG BEACH, NY — COVID-19 cases, led by the highly contagious omicron variant, have slipped since last week on Long Island. But at 24 percent positivity, according to Gov. Hochul's office, it is still high.
The Town of Hempstead's "Vaxmobile" makes another appearance in Long Beach.
On Friday, Jan. 21, free booster shots will be given in conjunction with Mount Sinai South Nassau.

The Pfizer dose for people 12 and older is available by appointment only. It is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Long Beach City Hall.
Original vaccine cards are required.
