Police Release Details About Body Found In Island Park

The victim, believed to be between 15-20 years old, is yet to be identified, police said.

ISLAND PARK, NY — Police have released more information about a body that was found last week in Island Park as they seek help from the public for identification.

The victim is believed to be a black or Hispanic male, 15-20 years old, Nassau police said on Tuesday.

The body was discovered near a dock on the morning of April 8, police said.

He was 5'4" tall and approximately 130 pounds, police said. The victim had a beige t-shirt with black lettering and two designs, and black cargo jogging pants with tactical pockets.
