Police Report: Arrests for Stalking, Disorderly Conduct, DWAI

The following information was supplied by the Long Beach Police Department/Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

• Solomon Wasserman, 63, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection at East Penn Street on June 26.

• Bryan Scharf, 23, of Brightwaters was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at East Park Avenue on June 29.

• Jason Commisso, 34, of Far Rockaway was arrested and charged with stalking in Oceanside on June 29.

• Julio Aviles, 45, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use and menacing at New York Avenue on June 29.

• Bobbi Levine, 51, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction at Barnes Street on June 29.

• John Dutra II, 24, of Atlantic Beach was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at West Beech Street on June 30.

• Gabriel Arera, 54, a homeless person, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use and menacing at Long Beach Boulevard and East Pine Street on June 30.

• Alan Owens, 30, of Poughkeepsie was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at Vermont Street and West Beech Street on July 1.

• Matthew Owens, 22, of East Rockaway was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at West Beech Street and Vermont Street on July 1.

• Lawrence Corley, 46, of Port Washington was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at West Broadway on July 1.

• James Treuhaft, 63, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol and driving while impaired by drugs at East Penn Street on July 1.

• Timothy Murphy, 49, of Flushing was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and Maryland Avenue and West Beech Street on July 2.

• Michael Collier, 27, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction at West Beech Street and Minnesota Avenue on July 2.
