Putting a Face On It

Long Beach Patch seeks out, finds and features some of the more interesting homes throughout the city.

The Long Beach barrier island is dotted with homes that vary widely in architectural style, from Spanish to Tudor to Modern. So we at Long Beach Patch thought to highlight this distinct feature of the city as a periodic part of our Viewfinder photo gallery.

The photos here were selected during our travels throughout the town because, for one reason or another, they captured our fancy. In today's column, among the homes we highlight are those with terra cotta roofs, stone stares and wrap-around porches.

Are there any homes that you think we should showcase in this photo column? Email us at josephk@patch.com._
