Question of the Day: Quiksilver Musical Acts?

Weigh in with your thoughts on this topic.

Below is the lineup of musical acts that will put a live soundtrack to the Quiksilver Pro New York surfing competition that is coming to Long Beach in September. With more than 40 musical performances, Quiksilver is touting the event as "the largest assemblage of music talent and athletes for an action sports competitive event." The headliners include big names like Interpol and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, along with the next big things like Neon Indian and Long Island's own Taking Back Sunday. The concert stage will be part of a larger festival surrouding the surf competition, including motocross and skateboarding events, held on the Superblock and foundation block.
