POSTPONED: Fireworks to Light Up Night Sky
Rain date set for July 13; Arts & Crafts Festival also ongoing.

The City of Long Beach has postponed this evening's Fireworks Extravaganza until Saturday night, due to the weather.

The City of Long Beach will present a Fireworks Extravaganza Friday night.
The evening's festivities will begin at 8 p.m. with a beach concert featuring Alive n' Kickin. The bandwagon will be set up on Long Beach Boulevard.

The fireworks display by Bay Fireworks will begin at approximately 9 p.m. from a barge in the ocean and can be seen throughout the city.
Though construction is still ongoing, two blocks of the new boardwalk will be open, from Long Beach Boulevard to Edwards Boulevard, temporarily for viewing purposes.
Crafts & Vendors
In addition to the fireworks, there will be several craft vendors and food vendors Friday through 9 p.m. Kids activities will also be available including, bounce house, water slide, face painting, games and more. On Saturday, the Arts & Crafts Festival continues from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Almost 200 arts and crafts vendors, food vendors and family activities will set up between Long Beach Boulevard and Riverside Boulevard.
Parking & Shuttles
Large crowds are expected and those attending the show should expect delays in getting there. You can watch the show from anywhere along the beach. Free shuttle buses will run from both the East and West Ends to Riverside Boulevard and back between the hours of 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
