Vindicated L.B. Teacher Returns to Work After Charges Dismissed

Written by Leah Bush

Long Beach resident Aaron Kozlowski returned to work this week in the North Shore School District, according to a report from Newsday.

The 32-year-old gym teacher has been reassigned to Glen Head Elementary from his former post in the Middle School and was reinstated as varsity coach of high school lacrosse after a Nassau judge dismissed a case in which four male students at the school, ages 12 to 13, alleged they witnessed Kozlowski watch pornography in his office.

Kozlowski faced four charges of child endangerment, but Judge Valerie Alexander dismissed the charges in early November after one boy recanted his accusation and two others subsequently refused to cooperate with authorities.

Kozlowski has been on paid leave since his arrest in April and was barred from coaching sports.
