Woman Suffers Medical Emergency During Point Lookout Triathlon: Police

POINT LOOKOUT, NY — A woman, who was participating in the Point Lookout Triathlon on Saturday morning, had a medical emergency while in the water, police said.

The woman was brought to Point Lookout Town Park on Lido Beach, where Town of Hempstead lifeguards performed CPR on the 66-year-old victim. She was transported to a local hospital, police said.

The woman is listed in critical condition, police said.
