Suffolk County Police Offer $5,000 Reward For Help In Nabbing School Bus Thief
Over the course of two days, 10 catalytic converters worth approximately $5,000 were stolen from 10 vehicles.

RONKONKOMA, NY — Detectives from Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad are on the lookout for a suspect or suspects responsible for stealing approximately $5,000 worth of catalytic converters from 10 school buses over the course of two days. The thefts occurred at 1849 Pond Road between June 11 to June 13 and police are requesting the public’s help in identifying the perpetrator or perpetrators.
The first theft occurred on June 11 at approximately 2 p.m. and the last theft occurred on June 13 at 6 a.m., according to police, who are offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to an arrest via Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
