Argument Turns to Slashing in Lower East Side, Cops Seek Suspect
On the evening of Oct. 17, a man slashed another man in the arm in front of Soho Deli & Grocery at 15 Stanton St.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Cops are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted in a dispute which turned violent earlier this week on the Lower East Side. An argument occurred between the suspect and a 28-year-old man in front of 15 Stanton St., between Chrystie Street and Bowery, on the evening of Monday, Oct. 17.
During the argument at about 6:30 p.m., the suspect became "irate," according to the NYPD, and took out a "sharp cutting instrument" and slashed the victim in the left arm.
The victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in stable condition, the NYPD said.

The NYPD described the suspect as a Hispanic man, and he was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, gray sweat pants and black sneakers. They released surveillance photos of the suspect below.
