Here are the top stories in Lower East Side-Chinatown today:
- The Children's Magical Garden On Stanton Street has filed a lawsuit against the owner-developer of the neighboring parcel, The Horizon Group. Advocates led by Kate Temple-West filed the suit claiming that David Marom, who purchased the adjacent lot, engaged in intimidation tactics in an effort to silence opposition to his development plans. The news comes in the wake of the two-year-old allegation that Horizon dumped garbage in the garden as a bullying tactic. (Bowery Boogie)
