Dapper Serial Subway Masturbater Arrested

NEW YORK, NY — Police arrested a Bronx man who allegedly masturbated in front of three women in as many boroughs, said police. Authorities arrested Roberto Remedios, 62, in the Bronx on Wednesday and charged him with public lewdness after he allegedly masturbated in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens aboard the subway.

The pervert struck for the first time on April 26, when he masturbated across from a 24-year-old woman on a northbound R train approaching 53rd Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn at 10 p.m. He fled the train dressed in the stylish getup of a white button down, tan pants, a brown jacket, blue and white saddle shoes and a brown hat, officials said.

On May 17, the creep rubbed his crotch over his pants in front of a 26-year-old woman on a northbound R train at the Canal Street Station in Chinatown at 2 p.m., police said. The victim exited the train at the Prince Street station in Soho. The man remained on the train.

The last incident occurred on May 26 aboard a northbound A train traveling between the Lefferts Boulevard and the 104th Street and OxFord Avenue stations in Ozone Park, Queens at 11:25 a.m., said police. Again, the man rubbed his privates over his pants this time in front of a 19-year-old woman who immediately fled the train. The subway perv stayed onboard.

A police investigation is ongoing.
