Here are the top stories in Lower East Side-Chinatown today:

  1. The NYPD is looking for a suspect who attacked a 20-year-old subway passenger while riding a northbound J train near the Delancey Street station. Police say that the two men had been arguing before the altercation but are unsure what the argument was about. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery. (WABC-TV)
  2. Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered in Times Square to protest the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The protestors chanted "Stand with Ukraine," and "Stop Putin now," while they marched up Broadway.
