87-Year-Old Man Dies 2 Weeks After Being Hit By Car on Lower East Side
An 87-year-old man died more than two weeks after being hit by a car as he crossed a Lower East Side street.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — An 87-year-old man has died more than two weeks after being by a car as he crossed the street, police said.
The man was crossing Grand Street on March 7 when he was struck by the left front bumper of a car, according to investigators.
The man hit the car's windshield before falling to the ground. The driver of the car remained on scene after the crash and was not arrested.
