1. The Lower East Side will host its first ever holiday parade this year. It will be an all-inclusive event celebrating various major holidays and traditions. The main goal of the parade is to spark holiday spirit in everybody, and bring joy to the neighborhood, said Susan Avery, founder of the New York Pacemakers. (amNY)
