- Dining sheds saved many Lower Manhattan businesses embattled by the pandemic, but are they now doing more harm than good? An outlook on the continuing debate over the outdoor dining boom in the city is outlined here. (WION)
- A woman was sucker-punched while leaving the subway in Lower Manhattan. The 36-year-old victim reported seeing a group of teens "messing around", before they approached her, punched her, and continue to kick and punch her while on the ground. There have been no arrests at this time. (ABC 7 NY)
- A Lower Manhattan thief has threatened to kill three women for their MetroCards. There have been three instances in either the Rector Street, or Whitehall subway stations in the past week. The thief has successfully taken the MetroCards in each instance without further harm to the victims. (AMNY)
