Here are the top stories today in Lower East Side-Chinatown:
- A man was pushed onto subway tracks at the Fulton Street station on Sunday. The 61-year-old victim was shoved, but was able to escape danger before a train arrived. He was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, and no arrests have been made in the incident. (The Indian Express)
- The body of Queens mother Yesely Sanchez was recovered from the water near Lower Manhattan. The 43-year-old had been missing since New Year's Day before she was found on the shore of Governor's Island. Authorities stated that she had injuries consistent with a fall from height.
