- After struggling through the pandemic, beloved cat café Meow Parlour returns to the Lower East Side. The local business reopened its doors at 46 Hester St. two weeks ago, while receiving the grand prize of $100,000 in the "Petco Love Stories" contest. Co-founder Christina Ha will use the $100,000 grant to expand the business into the second floor of the Hester Street location. (Bowery Boogie)
- La Colombe will open its first NYC roastery location at the Bowery Whole Foods. The 783-square-foot space at 95 Houston St. will be located within the Whole Foods, hoping to attract the attention of grocery shoppers. The new location will feature a signature blend called the "Bowery Blend." (Eater NY)
