NYC Subway Delays: Person On Tracks Briefly Shuts Down J, M Lines
The MTA says an unauthorized person on the train tracks on Williamsburg Bridge caused extensive subway delays Thursday morning.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — All J and M train service between the Lower East Side and Brooklyn was halted for about 30 minutes on Thursday morning because of an unauthorized person on the subway tracks on Williamsburg Bridge, the MTA said.
It was not immediately clear whether there were any injuries or how the person came to be on the tracks.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority first reported someone on the tracks at about 9:45 a.m. The MTA said J and M service was halted between the Essex Street station in the Lower East Side and Hewes Street station in Williamsburg. Service resume at about 10:20 a.m., the MTA said.
