- A homeless shelter for Chinatown elderly is being planned for East Broadway. The former Hotel 91 will be transformed into the new "Safe Haven" facility. The focus will be on serving Chinese speaking seniors and preparing them for the transition to permanent affordable housing. The new shelter will include security and a "high quality health center" open to the public. (Bowery Boogie)
