Man Slashes Stranger On Lower East Side, Flees: NYPD

The man's arm was sliced Wednesday on Pitt Street in the Lower East Side.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for a man who sliced a stranger's arm in the Lower East Side and bolted, police said.

Authorities received a 911 call of a man with a knife wound at Pitt Street between Stanton and Rivington streets police said. The slasher fled the scene and is described as wearing blue sweatpants, police said.
