LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Police are looking for two men suspected in two recent violent robberies on the Lower East Side, authorities said.

Neither man has been identified or arrested since the January attacks, the NYPD said.

Police said that on Jan. 21, at about 7:30 p.m., a 62-year-old man was walking inside the East River Park when three people approached him. The group, two men and one woman, attacked the 62-year-old, punching and kicking him before running off with $43 in cash, according to the NYPD.

The 62-year-old suffered injuries to his face and was treated for his wounds.

Just two days later, violent robbers that police believe were the same men attacked again. The two men spotted a 28-year-old man on Jan. 23 at 4:07 a.m. as the man was walking in the 650 block of Water Street. The two men, both wearing ski masks, punched the 28-year-old in the face and demanded that he hand over his money, according to the NYPD.
