Here are the top stories today in Lower East Side-Chinatown:

  1. A group of homeless men were involved in a fight outside of Bonnie Vee on Stanton. The brief brawl happened around 9 p.m., leaving two of the men with slash wounds across their faces. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, and no arrests have been made for the incident. (Bowery Boogie)
  2. Police are searching for the suspect in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident that left a senior citizen severely injured. The biker was traveling north on Pearl Street when he struck the 85-year-old man who was crossing the street. The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Police have released footage of the license plate, which appears to spell "LILITH."(amNY)
  3. Police have released surveillance footage from a Dec. 15 assault that left a 77 year old with a tooth knocked out, and a laceration to his nose. An argument broke out in a Lower East Side bodega when the elderly man was punched in the face. The pair were arguing outside of the store when the punch was thrown, after which the suspect fled in an unknown direction. (WPIX 11 New York)
