Here are the top stories in Lower East Side-Chinatown today:
- A male suspect attacked seven Asian woman over the span of just two hours on Sunday night. The suspect first approached a 57-year-old woman and punched her in the face at approximately 6:30 p.m., near Madison Avenue and East 30th Street. The final two attacks occurred in Lower Manhattan and come in the wake of the disturbing rise in anti-Asian violent crimes throughout the city. (WPIX 11 New York)
- A 7-story luxury residential building is coming to 282 Grand St., planned by local oncologist-turned-gallerist, Marc Straus. The development will yield about 20,000 square feet, and will feature about 20 one-bedroom apartments, and two penthouses. (Bowery Boogie)
