VIDEO: Man Attacked On The Lower East Side
NYPD releases shocking surveillance footage of a man who was attacked on the Lower East Side.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Two people attacked a man early Friday morning in a brutal assault that was caught on camera, police said. For more news from the Lower East Side and Chinatown, sign up for Patch news alerts here.
The attackers, both men, chased a 24-year-old man through the Lower East Side at about 2:45 a.m. on Friday, according to police. When the pair caught up to the man near 156 Orchard St., they "began to punch and kick him multiple times about the head, face and body," police said in a statement. The attackers fled in a black vehicle and the man was transported to a hospital in serious condition, authorities said.
